The curriculum for standard Four has been designed to help your child unfold her/his talents, to enable and guide him/her to sharpen her/his mental and physical abilities.
The syllabus is based on a child-centered approach.
Such an approach involves placing the emphasis on a child’s experiences and interaction with the environment.
Ideally, your child enters and remains in the upper primary environment for 4 consecutive years (Standard Four, Standard Five, Standard Six and Standard Seven).
By the time your child has finished a 4-year upper primary cycle, the child should be comfortable working independently as well as complete complex tasks happily.
Here is the complete upper Primary Syllabus in India based on all Boards (CBSE,ICSE,ISE,SSC,Cambridge,IB, WB etc)
